look. maybe my new insoles smell really, really bad – one day in, and my shoes smell like they were bathed in pluff mud. so what? i can open my iTunes, put it on shuffle, and within like 5 skips i can land on a super song that does that magical thing: turn the smell of pluff mud into the smell of memories and magic.
