Sleeping on the couch

…as a result of encountering the first palmetto bugs of the season – one in my kitchen, then one in my bedroom. that side of the house now smells of “pet-friendly” RAID. lord, i am not ready for the palmetto bugs…

addendum: just battled my THIRD palmetto bug. in the living room, the last sanctuary. i feel under attack, and my whole house smells like poison.
